800,000 to 1.2 million people per year. Over 2000 every day. 1 every 40 seconds. Sold for sex 20 to 30 times a day. A $150 billion per year business. 25 to 27% of 40 million are children!
These are some of the statistics I found when I started to research the Crime Against Humanity Crisis of Human trafficking. When the Biden Border Crisis hit the news, we all saw, even though we weren’t supposed to be allowed to see, the deplorable conditions that all of these “unaccompanied minors” were being forced to endure. Only a few of these reports mentioned the issue of child trafficking by the cartels at the Mexican border. One piece in The Daily Mail suggested that human trafficking will supplant drugs and oil as the commodity of choice for these well financed, well organized criminal organizations.
I wrote in a previous blog about how we seem to hate our children. Closing schools, stay at home orders, panic porn spread by an irresponsible media, have taken a horrendous toll, some estimates have the suicide rate by children up over 60%. As horrific as that is, it pales in comparison to the real pandemic of human, and more importantly child trafficking. Children are 4 times more likely to be trafficked for sex than adults, 51% of the trafficking cases in the U.S. involve child sex. The statistics are staggering, in the Asia-Pacific region, with India as the center, some estimates show that 1 of every 250 people are trafficked, with the vast majority, basically being enslaved in forced labor. The rest are forced into the seedy, evil world of sex trafficking, some estimates show that 99% of them are female, with the most popular age group being children between the ages of 12 to 14.
Yet, for the most part, we turn a blind eye to this monstrous evil. We are bombarded with stories about children being exposed to inappropriate, to say the least, teachings at grammar schools, sacrificing their innocence, at the altar of being politically correct. I have no issue with people being gay, transgender or whatever, I don’t care, it’s a choice that ADULTS make. Study after study has shown that the human mind isn’t fully developed until the age of 25 or so. Why then would we expose our children to subject matter they can’t fully deal with? The same is true for all of these “beauty pageants” where children are dressed as adults, often times sexualizing them in the process. I just read a story today about a child drag show in Los Angeles! It seems, to me at least, that we are trying to normalize deviant behavior, that is the sexualization of children. It stinks of Aldous Huxley’s “Brave New World” which if you haven’t read, you should, and if you have, you should read it again as I have.
In doing the research for this, I found an alarming number of rabbit holes. Conspiracy theories abound, everything from “pizzagate” to Wayfair. I implore you in the strongest way I can imagine to research this issue for yourself. Educate yourself. While these conspiracies have been dismissed by the main stream media, there can be no doubt as to the issue itself, child trafficking is a HUGE problem. Human trafficking is a HUGE problem. There are great resources on the web to educate yourself on this issue.
I am going to continue following these rabbit holes, I am going to continually speak out on this issue. It truly is a battle between good and evil, there can be no equivocation, there can be no middle ground. There is talk in this country about reparations for the unspeakable evil of slavery that our country allowed for its first hundred years, but you hear nothing about the slavery that exists in our country TODAY! This must stop! The only way to do it, is to inform yourself, so you can inform your neighbor, so that together we can make our voices heard by our leaders, and demand an end to this abomination. So that the perpetrators of this evil will face long overdue justice. So we can say, “I once was blind, but now I see”.
